I'm Gema, the creative mind behind The Gem Effect. I'm located in a cute town called Independence, OR but serve the Willamette Valley + and anywhere else you need me to go. I went down many career paths and none of them were a good fit for me, that's when I knew I had to make my photography work. I fell in love with the process of a photographer and discovered that my finished products is what fulfills me most. When I have full creative freedom to plan, direct, and execute the vision I have in mind I get to express my passions fully!
When it comes to my clients, their experience is my top priority. I want you to feel like the star you are in front of the camera – forget Vogue models, you're the real deal! Here I'll share my creative process, your vision and how we will marry the two into your very own custom package! You'll receive the proposal shortly after our call and if it looks good, we can begin to book our production date!
I'll send a questionnaire that goes deep into your brands story, personality, target audience, and business goals. This helps me understand you + your business goals better and plan your dream branding photo session.
This is the base of our photo session. During this phase, we will be finalizing mood boards, creative concepts, locations, book Hair + MUA, props, outfits, etc. Three days out, we'll share production details and timeline.
LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION BABYYY! The day is finally here and it's going to be a day full of good vibes with good music and snacks. You'll be feeling like Rihanna all day.
As I finish a section of the project (headshots, full gallery, B-roll clips, and reels), I'll be sending it over through your client portal. Depending on the project size, expect anywhere between 2-6wks to see the project completed.
